Imaginative Spark was created by Taira Liceaga,
a Toronto-based visual artist working in painting and sculpture
for over 15 years.
As a new mom, she found that there was little original artwork
available for children's rooms and started making some of her
own for her daughter. This was the beginning of Imaginative Spark.
Imaginative Spark's artwork is inspired by and created
for children, based on themes known to delight them such
as butterflies, sea creatures, paper toys, insects, trains, etc.
We pride ourselves in offering a fresh alternative from
the typically mass produced children's decor items that are widely
available, and in assisting parents to incorporate
original artwork and contemporary style in their children's rooms.
And to help make it easy to complete a room's decor, all our
artwork is created in coordinating series and is ready to hang,
requiring no framing.
Made with the highest quality materials, Imaginative Spark's

About the artist/owner:
Taira Liceaga has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School
of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Master of Fine Arts degree
from the University of Delaware. Her work has been exhibited in
many galleries in Toronto, Montreal, Halifax, Chicago and San
